  4. Location data – Your city or town (if you allow it) to show you nearby cars and improve search results.
  5. Usage data – Log files, app interaction statistics, and error reports that help us keep everything running smoothly.

3. How We Use Your Information

  1. To create and manage your Cars77 account.
  2. To show you relevant car listings based on your favourites, past searches, and location.
  3. To publish your vehicle ads so other users can find and contact you.
  4. To send service emails such as account verification, security alerts, and important updates.
  5. To improve our app by analysing anonymous error logs and usage patterns.

4. Information We Share

We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

  1. Public listing data – When you publish a car for sale, the listing page will display the car’s location (town/city) and your chosen contact method (email or phone) so interested buyers can reach you.
  2. Service providers – Trusted partners who help us operate (e.g., cloud hosting) may handle your data but only under strict confidentiality agreements.
  3. Legal requirements – If the law requires us to share information, we will comply only with valid requests and notify you when allowed.

5. How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. You can delete listings at any time; they will vanish from public view immediately and from our backups within 30 days.

6. Your Choices and Rights

  1. Access & update – You can view or edit your profile details in the app at any time.
  2. Delete account – Send us a request at support@cars77.com, and we will erase your data (unless we must keep it for legal reasons).
  3. Notification settings – Manage push notifications and email preferences in the app settings.
  4. Location permissions – Turn location sharing on or off in your phone settings.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, strict access controls, and routine security audits to protect your information. No method is 100 % fool-proof, but we work hard to keep your data safe.

8. Children’s Privacy

Cars77 is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If we update this policy, we will post the new version in-app and email you 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
